Mycah Smith, LMFT

Mycah Smith, M.A. is a Marriage and Family Therapist who provides a supportive and collaborative space for teens, emerging adults (18-25), couples, and families. She is passionate about helping clients navigate life’s complexities with self-compassion and grit, especially when it comes to identity, relationships, and healing.

With a background rooted in narrative therapy, Mycah believes the stories we carry shape how we see ourselves and others—and that change begins when we feel empowered to tell those stories differently. She is trained in Gottman Level 1 methodology and uses this in her couple’s work to support deeper connection, healthy conflict, and lasting intimacy.

Mycah earned her Bachelor's in Social Scienes from the University of North Texas and her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Amberton University. Before becoming a therapist, she spent several years working in Corporate America across multiple industries, bringing real-world experience and perspective to her clinical work. She has since worked in both private practice and community mental health settings, and has done great work with non-profit organizations and couple's retreats, supporting clients from all walks of life.
